Engaging parents in celebrating student learning and achievements will help boost excitement outside the classroom, foster a love of learning, and bring your student's community together to showcase and take pride in their hard work. Here’s how to involve parents in student recognition:
-
Print and send home certificates
. - Take a photo of your class with their certificates and post it on social media, class blog or in the school newsletter.
- Talk about students’ Mathletics achievements at parents’ evening.
- You can export student reports from Reports – Student Reports – Participation, using the Bulk Classroom Reports tab. These reports can be added to the student’s school report or can be shared with parents or placed in students’ Maths books and referred to in conversations during parent conferences.
- Hold special Mathletics celebration assemblies. Invite parents to attend. Contact your school’s Mathletics account manager and ask about Mathletics collateral to help your students celebrate their achievements. Take photos and share them on your social media platforms such as the Mathletics Facebook Page or Mathletics Facebook Group. Tag us: #Mathletics
- Create a Mathletics display board to celebrate the students’ achievements. Take photos and share them on your social media platforms such as the Mathletics Facebook Page or Mathletics Facebook Group. Tag us: #Mathletics
